Information:

1. Legacy to Virtual Venue Migration 
   • On January 1, 2026, all Legacy featured events will transition to Virtual Venue. Most landing page content, settings, and design elements will move over automatically. This guide walks you through what carries over, what changes, and how each section of your landing page will appear in Virtual Venue.

Enhancements:

1. Reports: Custom Question Report
   1. A Custom Questions Report can now be generated that consolidates responses from all areas of an event.
   2. Custom questions from the following areas are included in the report:
      • Bidder Registration
      • Item Donation
      • Donation Item
      • Ticket Page

2. Landing Page Share Link: When previewing on a mobile device, the system will display the event logo if one is set (Software Settings > Event Settings > Logo). If no event logo is configured, it will automatically fall back to the hero banner logo (Software Settings > Landing Page Builder > Settings > Hero Banner Settings > Hero Logo).
   
   
3. Event Tickets:
   1. Ticket Page Settings: Url: Ticket Page Share Link: When previewing on a mobile device, the system will display the event logo if one is set (Software Settings > Event Settings > Logo). If no event logo is configured, it will automatically fall back to the hero banner logo (Software Settings > Landing Page Builder > Settings > Hero Banner Settings > Hero Logo).
   2. Customizable Content:Text Body:
      1. A simplified Froala toolbar has been added to make editing more straightforward.
      2. Character limit is now 3,000 to match other content blocks.

5. CRMs: (Bloomerang, Neon, Salesforce, Raisers Edge NXT) Export Sales: Added the ability for discounted ticket sale values to be accurately included in sales exports.

6.  Software Settings: Auction Settings: Payment: Admin Fees Description: The custom message now appears after the phrase “administrative fee.”  

   • If no custom message is added, the system will display the default message:

     • “A ___ administrative fee has been added to your one-time donation amount”

     • Opt out of: “Opt out of paying administrative fee”

   • If a message is set up under Software Settings > Auction Settings > Payment > Admin fees Description:

     • “A ___ administrative fee has been added to your one-time donation amount. [custom message here]

     • Opt out of: [custom message here]
       
       

7. Landing Page Builder: Page Settings: Added a "Show Item Watch Button"
   
8. Organization:
   1. Recurring Donors:
      • Added a cancel button to allow organizations/users with permissions to cancel a recurring donation.
      • This is only a feature at the Organization level. Recurring donations can not be canceled at the event level
        
   2. Users: Permission was added for recurring donors under the Update Functions section.
      • Organization admin will automatically have this permission.
      • Users who did not have the Org Admin role will need to have the existing "View Functions = Recurring Donors" permission enabled, as well as the new "Update Functions - Recurring Donors" permission.

9. Post Event Data Report Upgrades:

   1. Tab “Items” has two new reports.

      • “Tab Contents” list has been updated.

      • “Total FMV” pie chart has been added, this includes:

      • Breakdown by item type
        
        
        
      • “Items with no FMV set” has been added, showing items with no FMV
        
   2. Tab “Bids” has multiple new reports and a new layout. 
      • “Tab Contents” list has been updated.
      • “Silent Bid Stats” has been added, this includes: 
        • Percent of FMV (for items with FMV set)
        • Largest Silent Bid
        • Average Bid Amount
        • Average Bids Per Bidder (this is across the event)
          
      • “Top 10 Silent Bidding Wars” list has been added, this includes:
        • Top 10 items that had at least 10 bids with at least 5 bids in a 5 minute window.  This shows:
          • The total bids for the item
          • The number of bids in the 5 minute peak period
          • When the peak 5 minute period started
          • The bidder numbers involved
          • The average bids per bidder during the peak 5 minute period
      • “Quantity Item Sales” pie chart has been added, this includes:
        
      • “Quantity Item Stats” list has been added, this includes:
        • All quantity items with their total sales
        • How many sales there were
        • What quantity was sold
        • If the quantity was limited

      Issues Resolved:

1. Bidders:
   1. Manage Bidders: 
      •  Optimized queries for Merge Bidders and Butler Merge Bidders
      •   Improved handling of concurrent check-ins and merges for high-volume events  
      •   Overall faster load and merge times in the Manage Bidders area
   2.  Email Bidders: Filter for Item Donors: The popup now displays [l]: "Last Name (Will show the name specified in Donor Name)"
2. Butler:
   1. Merge Bidders
      •  Optimized queries for Merge Bidders and Butler Merge Bidders
      •  Improved handling of concurrent check-ins and merges for high-volume event
      •   Overall faster load and merge times in the Manage Bidders area  
   2. Add a Bid/Multi-Sale: Added a confirmation pop-up when users attempt to “Buy Now” a closed item, similar to the existing confirmation when placing bids on closed items.
   3. Reports:
      1. this report now accurately reflects the correct number of bidders with credit cards, ensuring consistency with the “Has CC” tag in Manage Bidders
      2.  Incomplete Text-to-Give donations are no longer included removed the verbiage previously displayed in both areas:
3.  Integrations: Raisers Edge: Ticket Sale Invoices:  all manually marked paid invoices will correctly export moving forward
4. Event Tickets:
   1. Manage Guests: Improved the ticket data query by rewriting the underlying logic to better support events with many ticket types and a high volume of custom questions per ticket, all without running into data limits.
   2.  Modify Tickets:
      1. the field previously labeled “Drop Downs (limit the number of tickets that can be purchased)” has been renamed to: “Maximum number of tickets that can be purchased.”
      2. For consistency, the table view label has also been updated from “Drop Downs” to “Max Purchasable.”
      3. Additionally, when this field is set to 0, the ticket page will now correctly display 0 in the quantity selector and prevent unlimited ticket purchases. 
5. Auction:
   1. All Items: Drop Downs: Live Auction Items will no longer show in "No Bids" category.
   2. When two bidders are logged in and one has placed a max bid, the bidder merge process now correctly updates the max bid records to reflect the new bidder number. After the merge, bidders can continue placing bids without encountering errors.
6. Items: Manage Items:
   1. Has Bids (Quantity Items): Quantity items with more than 10 bids will allow removal of bids past the 10th bid.
      
   2.  Taxable Column: Search Box: Searching by yes/no for taxable now filters correctly. 
      
7. Dashboard: In Event: Totals: Incomplete Text-to-Give donations are no longer included removed the verbiage previously displayed in both areas: “Includes Text-to-Give with incompletes.”
