Scheduled Mass Messaging. A Game-Changer for Fundraising Events

In a "best-in-class" development, ClickBid has announced the launch of a new feature that will revolutionize the way organizations communicate with registered donors in their event platform. This long-awaited development will allow for customized mass emails and mass text messages, providing a level of control and flexibility that has been sorely lacking in event planning.

Historically, messages have been manually sent via a ClickBid admin user. This was by design. Over 22 years of on-site experience has taught the team at ClickBid that events rarely stay on schedule. A silent auction deadline gets pushed, the program starts twenty minutes late and so on. Founder and CEO Matt Burnell pushed back on developing automations due to this challenge. The risk of sending messages created before changes occurred was higher than any hassle of sending manual messages. After all, you cannot unsend 500 text messages with the wrong closing times. Better it never went out at all.

But after much deliberation and input from the development and product teams at ClickBid, a solution was born. The key to this new feature is mass messaging confirmations. Each scheduled message will now come with a confirmation message that goes to an individual of your choosing before the scheduled send date/time. This crucial step will allow for last-minute changes or cancellations, ensuring that messages remain relevant and timely.

This innovative approach addresses the unpredictable nature of events, providing the necessary guardrails to avoid sending out messages that no longer align with the actual schedule. With the ability to cancel or change messages before they go out, organizations can now navigate unforeseen delays or changes with ease.

With the development and implementation of confirmation alerts, the implications of this feature are immense. ClickBid can now offer equal levels of automation, customization, confidence and control that has been sorely lacking in event communication. As ClickBid prepares to roll out this game-changing update in August, nonprofits with ClickBid accounts have expressed great anticipation.

For event organizers and attendees alike, this marks a new era in seamless, effective communication. The days of blindly sending out mass messages and hoping for the best are over. With ClickBid's new feature, the future of event communication is brighter than ever.
