We’re excited to announce that we’re one of 2023 winners of the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch Award, which will be presented during the 19th annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business Gala on May 2, 2023!
The event will host more than 800 guests at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan to celebrate the achievements of this year’s award recipients.
This award recognizes ClickBid’s recent growth thanks to its success in helping hundreds of nonprofits and charities raise more than $500m for their respective causes.
“Since our first event more than 20 years ago, we have dedicated ourselves to building a company and software platform that makes fundraising crazy simple,” said ClickBid CEO, Matthew Burnell.
“In the end, we feel that we’ve built a solid organization focused on our nonprofit’s bottom line and fundraising needs. This award is a testament to all the hardworking people at ClickBid who helped make this happen.”
At ClickBid, it’s our mission to help charities raise awareness for their causes, strengthen donor relationships, and enable year-round giving opportunities. We combine our easy-to-use platform with the support of a highly experienced service team to ensure each fundraising endeavor is successful. Since we were founded in 2002, we have worked with thousands of charities and grown to employ more than 20 people at its headquarters in Muskegon.
The past three years have been a challenging landscape for business owners, but small businesses have learned to become nimble and innovative in order to accomplish their goals. The 2023 awards gala will put Michigan’s small businesses in the spotlight and give them a chance to share their success stories with the supporters who helped them get to where they are today.

Companies nominated for the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch Award must be privately held and headquartered in Michigan with six to 99 full-time-equivalent employees and generate $750,000 to $50 million in annual revenue or working capital from investors or grants. Awardees are selected based on their demonstration of intent and capacity to grow based on the following:
